TRITON’s vision is to overcome defence-specific obstacles associated to the automation of penetration tests, and fully automate the pre- and post- pentesting process. It introduces the novel concept of Human-as-aSecurity-Sensor, letting the operators of the automated penetration testing solution to monitor the progress, perform what-if analysis, predict future paths, and enforce controls through security policies.

ACROSS is a HORIZON-JU-SNS-2022 funded research project that designs and implements an end-to-end service deployment and management platform for next generation networks and services, aiming at unprecedented levels of automation, performance, scalability, and energy efficiency.

The B5GEMINI project aims to develop a digital twin network applied to a 5G core environment and its evolution towards 6G where use cases of interest will be developed for the use of advanced scenarios such as cybersecurity or network management, in which Network operators in coordination with Telecommunications service and equipment providers can validate new functionalities before their incorporation into the network or emulate existing situations in the network and analyze the effect of applying different policies in the network.

The EU-funded TeraFlow project developed a new type of secure cloud-native SDN controller that fundamentally advanced innovation beyond 5G networks. TeraFlowSDN is one of the first open-source, micro-service based, cloud-native and carrier-grade SDN controller capable of integrating with current NFV and MEC frameworks as well as to provide revolutionary features for both flow management (service layer), and network equipment integration (infrastructure layer), while incorporating ML-based security and PDL-based forensic evidence for multi-tenancy.

SPIDER delivers an innovative Cyber Range as a Service (CRaaS) platform that extends and combines the capabilities of existing telecommunication testbeds and cyber ranges with the most recent advances in telecommunications management and emulation, gamification and serious games training as well as economics of cybersecurity.

TOSHI combines recent Linux kernel technologies that are now reaching their maturity with AI/ML-based techniques to analyze events and detect anomalies. These two main pillars have not been integrated in any product to enforce host security and their unique combination has the potential to address a constantly growing security market.

Boost 4.0, starting 1st January 2018 and with a duration of 3 years, is the biggest European initiative in Big Data for Industry 4.0. With a 20M€ budget and leveraging 100M€ of private investment, Boost 4.

The overall objective of the CogNet project was to make a major contribution towards autonomic network management through the use of network information such as state, topology, configuration and various key metric data, and relevant external data which we call situational context or out of band information, and use this to proactively manage the network, maintain sufficient capacity to meet demand levels and maintain Quality of Service at the levels required by the different types of network users.
